UFC Welterweight and MMA H.E.A.T. Podcast partner Alan “Brahma” Jouban (15-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) announces his UFC Fight Night 107 co-main event bout against #9 ranked Gunnar Nelson (15-2-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC). The Fight takes place March 18, 2017 at the O2 in London. Alan explains to Wade Eck that he’s been wanting a Top 15 opponent for quite a long time. 1. I love Alan Jouban, he's a very intelligent, tactically astute fighter, he proved how good he is against Mike Perry but he doesn't appear to be this hugely talented guy, he seems to have gotten where is by working harder than others and hats off to him but Gunnar Nelson is something else, great talent, amazing natural ability and years of training with the best coaches and sparring partners. Not to mention Gunnar never cut weight in his life. Jorge Masvidal is in somewhat better position, the win against Cerrone was emphatic, he's on a tear, but his title shot dreams are also likely to end vs. Damian Maia, we saw what Maia did to Carlos Condit without receiving a single punch and barely breaking sweat. Having said that, it was a bad move on UFC's part not to even get Jouban a press moment after he beat Mike Perry in MSG but on the other hand, Khabib Tiramisov didn't get it either.

  2. This guy's marketable boyish looks may get him a few sponsorships, garner him more attention than warranted by his fighting ledger, my message to him::::"Get those endorsements now!" Because you're not going to be as famous after losing repeatedly, you'll be easily forgotten after defeats no matter how many ladies love ya. Well…………there's always MMA commentating after the lime light.
