  1. If Weidman loses in his backyard then it's all over for him and Ray Longo fight school…Chris is making over 500,000 Grande a year in publicity and residuals. After black mailing Ray longo to make part owner of his fight school fight school in Garden City NY now the ….longo weidman school of mixed martial arts….

  3. Chris Weidman has reached his career peak…..Weidman is too tall and skinny and chris's old injuries are probably starting to slow him down…..i think this Gastelum creature like him or not will take the fight

    • HH Rey I agree with Dan Hardy being a real good analyst., I think Cruz knows he has this image of being technical and well spoken, but just listen to his question.. they're drawn out and over the top. His post fight presser was cringe…

    • He is one of the best analyst the UFC and FOX has. He really knows how to break down a fight and on the other side of the Pond Dan Hardy is really good analyst as well. They know the game they lived it and really give a great breakdown. Bisping Daniel Comier and Woodley are more meat heads but entertaining.

    • Different weight classes won't happen. Dominick fights at 135 and probably would only go up to Lightweight 155 max and I doubt he even goes that far up at 155 unless he just can't make the bantamweight or Featherweight 145 class weight anymore. By that time maybe it would be time to retire.

  9. I'm rooting for Gastelum, but Weidman's got the size advantage and possibly the mental advantage as well. It was just a few months ago that Gastelum straight up said that he didn't want to be at 185 because he thought he couldn't beat Weidman or Lukerockhold. Kelvin also barely beat Uriah Hall, who Weidman obliterated. I know MMA math doesn't work that way but it is something to be considered.

I will say this though, Kelvin is always looking better (skill wise) every time he steps in the ring… so who knows

    • After this experience against Weidman, who's arguably the best middleweight on the roster when he's on his game, no one at welterweight will be concerning to him. Although it's been a bit of a reality check seeing him cop an L like he did. Pretty small for a middleweight, the idea that he would beat Weidman was really just banking on the theory that either A) Gastelum is an absolute, GOAT level killer or B) Weidman can't hang no more

  11. The UFC needs something a bit deeper and more involved for Cruz, Hes way to intellectual and well spoken and interesting to be limited to the Desk here team interviewing fighters.

they should start a fun and in depth series just for him going around hanging out with/training with/interviewing fighters. and maybe even throw some new promising up and comers at him to pick apart in the gym a bit. as long as its fun, i think hes interesting and smart enough to make a completely new thing take off for UFC special, and not just some boring fightpass mini series, something substantial and prime time.
