    • I kind of agree with you but I am not too sure about Max beating Edgar in the stand up. Skill for skill Max is better than Frankie standing but the only reason Aldo could beat Edgar was because of Aldos magnificent takedown defense and style as a countering striker. I doubt Max is on Aldos level when it comes to defending takedowns and I have never consider his style a countering one. So basically there is a good chance that Max kicks might be limited due to the risk of ending up on his back with Frankie on top. Max advantages when it comes to kicks, height and reach might not be that of an advantage. In Frankies last fight he basically fought a fighter with a strong stand up and a high level BJJ that had height, reach and speed advantage. That fight never made it to the third round.
