  1. I keep coming back to this, and the words Tony uses at 1:56 specifically. I believe that if Tony beats Khabib, it'll be due to him being willing to put out offense from the guard, from the bottom, and from any position. One reason Khabib is so dominant is that his opponents historically just try to escape or survive once he gets them down – I haven't seen anyone put consistent offense in against Khabib from the ground. Rounds 1-3, Tony does damage to Khabib from guard with elbows, and diminishes his takedown power. Rounds 4-5, Tony dots Khabib up on the feet. Ferguson by decision.

  2. I think both these guys would maul mcnuggets if they take him down. Easy fight, Conor better perfect his take down defense otherwise he's in for a long night.Remember when midget Chad Mendes took Conor down at will? Lol yeah kinda a different animal facing Kevin Lee or El Cucuy

  3. I really dont see ferguson beating mcgregor. I was the guy laughing when people said he beats aldo before hand…once he handled alverez there was no possible way to discredit the man. connor mcgregor is a diffrent type of athlete, so tony ferguson better really understand what he's getting himself into

  5. tony is the real champ he very much deserves that more than anybody in the LW division an deserves to fight conor b4 anyone els he earned that right. dude is a work horse works harder than anyone in ufc i say that with confidence. tony is game af. tony knows he put the work in an always working harder than his opponents

  7. Like most ufc fighters have said, most ufc fighter have terrible stand up which is why conor outboxes most of these guys. Since he trained purely boxing to fight mayweather he’s gonna come back even more dangerous and that’s gonna be a sight to see. As for ferg he better step his stand up game because if he fights like he fought lee he’s gonna get kod stiff or finished after getting rocked. I got McGregor by round 2 tko

  8. I can almost guarantee, that conor will be fighting tony next…as for the fight itself…if you have watched any of tony's fights…you'll notice one glaring thing…his boxing and boxing defense are extremely bad…he also gets rocked and wobbled in many of his fights…he keeps his chin high and hands low…if you were to make a fighter the perfect guy for conor to tee off on, tony is it…conor is going to lay into him and finish him in under 3 minutes…I like tony, but lando came within an eyelash of stopping him…Lee came a very very close of stopping tony…if this fights goes 1 round with conor, i'll be very surprised.

  10. Out of all the possible opponents for McGregor Max Holloway looks the most dangerous right now. Diaz is always a badass but he hasn’t fought in over a year. Ferguson is awesome but I don’t think he looked as well in this fight as Holloway did against Aldo. Conor should just give up the 155 to Tony, let Tony and Khabib finally fight, and go fight Max for the 145 again. Then the two champs out of each division can do a super fight.

  12. He really shouldn't be holding the belt like he's the champ until he beats Conor. Tony is not the champ. Conor beat the champ for the belt, Tony didn't beat the champ. Now if Conor vacates or something. Different story.

  16. only one thing to figure out about Conor vs Ferguson. if Conor doesn't try to get big , sticks to his fight weight 155, and stops with the being big tactic, his endurance holds up and he wins. if Conor does what he has done last 3 4 fights , which is be big , do big weight cut and rehydrate back to being as big as possible , then Conor loses.

  18. Kevin Lee earned my respect. I didn't think he was that caliber of fighter. With experience I believe he will end up being the best in this division(if he can make weight). I thought he was a gimmick like 90% of the fighters the Ufc pushes but he is skilled. Just not as skilled as "El cucuy"…..yet

  20. TO EVERYONE SAYING CONNOR BEATS FERGUSON EASY ON THE FEET. I LIKE CONNOR BUT IT'S CRAZY HOW CONNOR FANS FORGET SO FAST THAT A 145 POUNDER IN CHAD MENDES PUT A DAM GOOD BEATING ON MCGREGOR'S FACE. I AM NOT SAYING I DON'T GIVE CONNOR THE ADVANTAGE ON THE FEET BECAUSE I DO. BUT IF MENDES DID THAT TO CONNOR WITH NOT MUCH DIFFICULTY, IDK CUCUY (A BIG STRONG 155ER) MAULS HIM ON THE GROUND. NOT JUST THAT, CUCUY IS VERY CREATIVE AND GOOD EVERYWHERE. NOT AN EASY FIGHT FOR CONNOR BY ANY STRETCH THAT'S DELUSIONAL.

  22. People call Daniel Cormier a paper champ for not beating jones…. right? Whelp. Can't pick and choose. Looks like according to your logic (that I don't agree with), you're looking at your paper champ right here.

  24. It was a very good fight. My only problem with the fight were Tony's illegal elbows on top of Kevin's head. If the UFC brass really cares about the well being of it's fighters, than this needs to be addressed with seriously. Because NVSAC is a joke.

  26. Who else wants to see Ferguson vs Lee 2? I honestly think if Ferguson can stay at the top if conor doesnt come back and Lee fights his way in to contention and learns from his errors it could be compelling fight. I maybe wrong but just wonder who else agrees

  28. Honestly, it could only go Conor vs Tony. It's a unification title fight, it's the biggest draw. The Irish and casual fans behind Conor. The Mexicans and hardcore fans behind Tony. Khabib, is the next biggest fight, but you can't rely on the guy's health. I'd put him on for one fight before title to show he's reliable for a big card. Regardless of whether you love or hate Conor, winning or losing (competitively) against him makes you a superstar, and Tony absolutely deserves that. This kind of win streak in a loaded division like this, he more than deserves that Conor fame and money.

  30. So glad Tony won… I think Conor would've had a much easier time with wrestling-focused Kevin Lee. Ferguson rocked Lee a few times with looping punches so you know Conor would light him up. I think Tony's just tall, long, crafty, versatile, and unorthodox enough to really put Conor in trouble. I love that match up

  31. Kevin did very very well. He surprised me! I'm sure he surprised Tony too with his strength. That kid is a bulldozer!! Man, tony can say what he wants….but had Kevin another 60sec in the first round, I'm not sure tony survived that pounding?? That full mount was solid!! Kevin has shown he has great back control but now he also showed strong top control over elite. I'm not a big fan of Kevin trash talk but he's a good kid at heart. He might have lost the fight but he proved he can more than hang with the best. Keep training with Dewey Cooper….Bright future ahead!

    Congrats Tony! Belt well earned…

    Thanks for a great fight!

  32. What should be worrying for Ferguson is having his hands by his waist taking shots from a very long extending Conor who has shown to devastate opponents. Congrats to him, but working on better defense should be the #1 priority for him in general.

  33. This went exactly how I expected Kevin is a great fighter and showed it so many times in this fight but Tony has so much experience at beating top level guys, imo opinion they were pretty close in stand up just like the Tony and Barboza fight but just like Barboza Kevin kept going for the takedown and end up getting submitted

  34. Conor will def. concede the belt. He will run from Tony, for months, and even longer, as he fanatically immerses himself in ju-jitsu, and wrestling; he has zero chance to beat Tony, otherwise. Second, Tony is a much greater threat than Nate, because Tony's wrestling game will bring Conor to the ground, whereas, Conor stuffed Nate's takedowns, and kept Nate on his feet, eating more shots than he gave.

  35. Wow super impressed with K. Lee's performance.. In my opinion Ferguson is the toughest lightweight and for me it looked like he was getting beat up by Kevin and his submission win was really a Kevin's mistake.. I'm sure he'll get to fighting for the belt pretty soon again.. Congrats for Tonny tho..

  36. Tony is an amazing fighter, so is Kevin, and so is Conor. Conor is the best boxer, Kevin probably has the most potential, and Tony is a veteran of the game who deserves a shot. Nothing but love for people who put as much as into their passion as these athletes.

  37. This fight was so boring….Nate vs Connor is where its at…..i couldnt even take one round of this snoozer of a fight and fast forward it to the 4th and turned it off….theres a reason why folks want to see Nate vs Connor…

  38. McGregor better watch out. He should fight Nate and then retire. Maybe Paulie in a boxing match (fighting him in MMA would be a massacre) afterwards to make a quick buck. I don't think there's any benefit to Conor fighting anybody else. Risk/Reward isn't there.

  39. Tony won but I'm not impressed what so ever. Kevin was a minute away from winning that fight he just got sloppy. If this Tony shows up to fight Conor it's going to be a easy fight for the Notorious One. What a shame we didn't see the Khabib fight go down cause he would of destroyed this fool easily.

  40. UFC 216 was awesome and congratulations to Tony Ferguson for winning the Light heavyweight UFC Interim belt. That was an awesome win for him and fight with him and Kevin Lee and congratulations to both Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee for an awesome fight and performance from both, just saying.

  41. These guys have kids and suddenly it's like they have a new shiny little toy. For the first time it seems they discover what it means to have and experience real love and expand beyond themselves.

I like the champion Ferguson. He's nicer, more mature and gracious.

    • Jorge lopez the guys conor has knocked down or tko runs right into the left hand besides they shouldnt trade with him nate is the only guy in that division that can stand in trade. Tony would just take conor down he wont stand and trade
