  1. Wish them all the best. A great couple. Amanda is a serious fighter. No one in her class in that division. She's at another level in terms of skill. In a perfect world if JJ could put on 20 pounds of muscle THAT would be a great fight!

  3. I'm curious as to why people make such a big deal about whether a FIGHTER does or does not speak english? It's very arrogant to bash a fighter or treat them as being worth less than another just because they don't speak english. Can we get a count of how many american fighters were speaking Japanese during their time in Pride where they all made their name and the fans loved them regardless? It bothers me how this old chestnut is always rolled out.

  5. I think it is a bit of crutch to always have your partner with you. To me it looks like insecurity. Marketing of Conor and Rousey is easier. They are naturally cocky and that stirs a lot of emotion. I want Amanda to win but somehow I find the whole nice guy persona a bit boring. Nunes in the octagon is a brutal beast 🙂 You are in the ring/octagon to knock the other person out, there is nothing nice about that. Guess that is why I like the Diaz brothers.

  7. given the ufc's "entertainment" orientation, and $$… its surprising that the UFC does NOT provide individual mic's for these ladies … so that we don't have to listen to so much crowd noise with the question/answers. Bye the Bye, Ms. Nunes' English is vastly improved (I think).
