    • It's just not like other sports, fighting has a much tinier margin for error and the "better" doesn't win as often as would be expected in other sports, this is why we value champions like JJ and MIghty Mouse so much.

    • Dan B I just rewatched the Andrade vs Hill fight and now I feel a little better about 211. Angela Hill tagged her quite a bit from the opening minute and she's no where near Joanna's level in terms of striking. Your comment earlier about Jessica eating a lot of shots came to mind.

    • That's true, but it's also factored into Andrade's style that she will be hit, and like the Diaz brothers or John LIneker, this kind of style only works if you have a chin. And she seems to have one. Hope JJ can ring her bell early and defend the takedown early

    • What a fascinating fight Hill vs Andrade was though. HIll is such a warrior. I feel like if she stayed just a bit calmer in those pocket exchanges she could have got more damage off.

    • You are on-the-money. I seriously question the mma understanding of the folks who think Jessica will KO JJ. Anything can happen, but JJ has a superior stand-up game, simple as that. If Hill can make it an exciting fight and not get seriously hurt….. I think Joanna wins more easily than many think.
