  5. Casuals hating on Waterson and VanZant because of their looks, yet ignore their respectable records and past performances, sure they're not on the level of Cyborg or Joanna, but not many are. Doesn't mean they don't belong on stage.

The men who got those women in are rarely ever mentioned, especially the men who train them, they deserve the most love and respect because they take them seriously, motivate them and train them, this gets missed alot. These guys have been very supportive and comforting to women in mma, where the world thought men would be jealous and envious of women, it's actually the total opposite.

  9. cyborg is my fav female fighter but it wasnt till today that i paid any of the tranny talk much attention, its just when she walked out with the girls (btw why is pvz up there?) she had absolutely no hip sway as she walked, her back was arched and her shoulders so bulky, i couldnt help but feel she has the bone structure of a male although id hope im wrong

  11. women headlining UFC 200&213 is not impressive. Like their male counterparts who were originally supposed to headline pulled out. I wish the ufc would let Joanna headline a ppv I wish they would let other female fighters other than Paige & holm headline fn and fox night cards. Some highest rating cards have been headlined by women

    • Barring a match up with Shevchenko, I can't think of any female headline worthy match-ups that could generate a decent story line or buzz without the names you mentioned.

Hmm, maybe Calvillo vs Grasso? Two bright up and comers. Then again, Grasso took an L her last fight.
      IDK

    • Slick D Jr. I disagree because:

      1. I think I think there some interesting matchups u cld do: Claudia v Andrade or namajunas v herrig, grasso v herrig Pennington v Mcmann, Holm2 cyborg v anyone on ppv or fox valentina vs Joanna waterson v rose calvillo v herrig
      Karolina vs herrig(sneaky fun fight)

      2. "Lack of worthy matchups that could generate a storyline or buzz." Is a copout. All those female fights I named have some kind of significance. There have been fights headlined by men that were boring asf.

Even if u don't think they are compelling it helps to promote them. Look at invicta fights they are super fun and exciting.it doesn't take anything away from the male fighters at all.

I'm not saying that EVERY female fighter should headline a card but my problem are the ones that are well known are not getting pushed.

    • Actually Claudia vs Andrade would be legit.

Grasso fought Herring her last fight. Waterson v Rose just happened so I excluded those match up.

"I wish they would let other female fighters other than Paige & holm headline fn and fox night cards."
Because of that statement I excluded them out of the picture.

And if you reread my initial comment you would also see that I excluded Shevchenko because she may be champion come this weekend, tho I doubt it. It would go without saying to have a champion headline a PPV or FN/Fox main cards.

In my opinion, neither Namajunas v Herrig nor Pennington v Mcmann is main event worthy. More like a FN/FOX co-main event.

Now, I also want women to be pushed more. I am a fan of the women divisions. When I said that I can't think of any female headline worthy match-ups that could generate a decent story line or buzz. I was speaking from the prospective of the UFC.
If it was up to me I'll throw Waterson vs Calvillo in there and see what happens.

Anyway, I don't cop out of shit. We are just voicing our opinions.

  13. Paige is a deluded, goofy, arrogant, AIRHEAD bimbo, if she truly thinks WOMEN are "taking over" the UFC and/or that most people are more into the chick bouts than the male bouts. That's nothing more than wishful, hyperbolic, feminist propaganda….and I say this as a male fan of Nunes, Holm, Cyborg and Joanna. I love TRUE female fighters; one's with tremendous skill and truly earn their way to the top. Paige is on the roster far more for her looks and marketability, rather than her skill.

As for her ridiculous and assinine remark, Does she even realize the Meisha/Nunes bout was default PROMOTED to Main event for 200, due to DC/JJ pulling out? Does she realize Nunes/Rousey were the main event of 207, ONLY bcuz it was the return of The UFC's biggest female star, from a year long hiatus? Does she realize 213 is headlined by Nunes and Shevchenko, due to Cody and TJ being pulled?

Silly broad. Plz hurry up and go back to Dancing with the stars, cooking shows, and hopefully, fake a sex-tape leak. You'll never be an ELITE true badass of women's MMA…and with your looks, you don't have to be.

  15. Things like this make the sport lose credibility. Paige and Michelle couldn't even box the shadows of the 2 great fighters that they're sitting next to.
Might as well have thrown the ring girls up there since they want to turn this into a Miss UFC pageant.

    • Truly Zambian You're an uninformed fool. Michelle is a former Invicta champion and life long martial artist. As the other person mentioned, her problem is that she is too small (she is a natural 105 pound fighter) . She started the Namajunas fight winning the striking exchanges and hitting Rose with a vicious side kick right in the face that snapped her head back. The problems arose when the fight ended up on the ground and she got worked over down there good by the larger fighter. Once she got up she was never the same.

    • Looks sell, looks + skill sell the most, skill on its own not so much unless its exceptional skill (Just look at DJ and Mia). UFC is more like WWE than NFL, its business first and foremost. This stupid debate: "he/she is more skilled man she deserves a push (promotion) more than blabal who just looks better" has been going on in pro-wrestling for a long time, because some poeple don't realize that the fighters/wrestlers who bring in the most money are the ones to push the company forward not the guys who are most skilled. Cyborg has skill + freak show=$$ when she demolishes 145 bums. So welkome to the real world motherfuckers, the sooner you realize what it is the sooner you will stop failing at life and realize your potential.
