Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor Post-Fight Press Conference (LIVE!)

281

MMA H.E.A.T. brings you the post-fight press conference after Floyd Mayweather’s 10th-round TKO victory over Conor McGregor. It was a competitive fight until the legendary boxer turned up the heat in the later rounds, ultimately getting the ref to wave off the fight. In the ring afterwards, Conor said fatigue lost it for him, not damage. Both fighters showed mutual respect and a true love for the sport of boxing. Floyd retires (again) with a record of 50-0.

  1. 100 percent bullshit. I really hope people aren't buying into the whole "I tried to make up for 49" thing. This wasn't a boxing match. It was MMA vs boxing. Floyd would have did Conner in round one if he could have. No way do I believe he wanted to carry an opponent 10 rounds who wasn't even a boxer. I think the fact that a guy with O boxing experience going 10 is a black eye to boxing.

  2. You fools keep calling it "Mixed Martial Arts" yet all I see in the octogen are two dudes grabbing each other on the floor if they're not trying to box it out. Mix Martial Arts my dick!! I never get to see any of that! Its the reason why real Boxing fans will never become fans of MMA! MMA is more of a tap out game! As for you fools that know nothing about fighting, real men throw punches, give each other the respect to get up off the ground and either try again, or get fucked up again with clean punches. Any man can pin any man down on the ground to make him tap out,, fact!! Even in the streets of NY we give the next man the respect to get up and try again, unless he did something dirty, then he'll get dealt with in a dirty fashion. If you have fought long enough in the streets of a real ghetto, then you'll know that if your opponent is scared, he will grab you in hopes of getting it over with quickly… That's MMA. You are all being fooled by that sport in which it is not. Floyd has proven to each and one of you'all just how you cannot compare dirty tactics to real fighting. You'all yet to deny it and look for other excuses… Smh. Fkn cowards. Conner looked like a fool from the first round up. Seriously, he did and you fake fools take pride in that?

  3. this was a very strange "match", I don't trust them at all, it was match-fixing, and of course, like always, this bullshit trash talk, without, skillz, …and the real winners of this set-up "battle, the coorporotions, gambling maffia, gamble sites, and of those bastards…/ "moneyfight", this will be,not the "match of the century", but the match-fixing" of the century…-)history is always repeating,

  4. In Round 6, conor whispered something in floyd's ear and that led to them both smiling seconds after that. Everybody missed it including the announcers. The media isnt even talking about it. I want to know what he said, help me get the word out until the media eventually notice.

  5. Malignaggi VS McCregor
Mayweather's complaints about rabbit punches are to excuse his poor showing against a neophyte. Mayweather's common tactic of giving his opponents the back of his head when in trouble is what caused the rabbit punches. When you lead with the back of your head, don't complain about rabbit punches. Not bad for Mcgregor never having fought a single boxing fight in his life stepping in the ring against the self-professed "greatest fighter of all time" with 49 professional fights and 92 amateur fights (141 vs Connor's 0)!!! Not to mention the fact that McGregor didn't fight dozens of 4 round, then dozens of 6 round fights, dozens of 8 round fights, and ten round, 12 round, & 15 round fights over 21 years.
So much for the "greatest ever" delirium!

Another great fight that fans would line up to watch is Pauli Malignaggi Vs Conor McGregor. It will never happen because with one fight under McGregor's belt Malignaggi could never last past six rounds. The fight will never happen because boxers would receive a final black eye, vs MMA fighters, when Mcgregor destroys Pauli, who retired a few months ago after having won world world boxing championships in two different weight divisions. Expect to see the sparring sessions withheld between Pauli and Conor. The black eyes and knockdowns of Malignaggi speaks wonders about the boxing world vs the MMA world. Again, Malignaggi's laughing at the thought of McGregor stepping into the boxing ring and Pauli stating that "you could tie ankle weights on my feet, tie one hand behind my back, attack a device under my jaw so that McGregor could have an easier target … who the f@#k is he kidding. He's a joke." That's why Connor hired Pauli as a sparring partner – to give Pauli two beatings which included black eyes and knockdowns – and Pauli didn't have ankle weights on, one hand behind his back, nor a device around his neck so he would make an easier target for the joke McGregor to hit. It would be a shame the boxing world – with all its bravado – would never live down. A lesson boxers deserve following the endless humiliating talk about McGregor being a joke

  6. I would like to give my opinion, but please respect it, it's just my opinion. It was a beautiful boxing match, Mayweather is a boxing genius, he deserved to win, his brain and his body are more resilient because he quite literally has been punched more times, so i knew this would happen, i knew Floyd would win, he has the endurance that comes from years of taking hits to the head, basically he's harder to knock out. Our bodies adapt, they adapt to survive, just the same way our hands grow thicker skin from hard work, so does the brain grow stronger and more resilient. So it was no surprise. But with that in mind i must say that the best fighter didn't win this fight. We all know who the greatest warrior is and if Floyd wasn't protected by the rules of boxing Connor Macgregor would've won. Boxing has rules, war has none. Connor Macgregor is still the best warrior in my opinion. Congratulations to both of them, they were amazing. Have a great day everyone. Peace.

  7. Conor surprised me. I thought Floyd was going to get him out of there in the first couple of rounds. While Floyd was always considered a "slow starter", we're talking about the greatest boxer of this generation versus a guy who's never boxed professionally. Not bad for an amateur.

  8. I am not a fan of mayweathers, but this is exactly why they should have allowed a KO because that would have been conclusive…now we have idiots questioning the outcome. I don't like either fighter, but it was an easy no brainer…Mayweather was in his element. I am surprised he didn't run as much as he usually does. He ducked GGG in favor of Berto because he was scared for his record. NOw he fights an MMA Irish clown, this should NOT count towards pro record….Marciano was a real slugger, hard earned 49 Mayweather was a runner and now has 50-0…SMH its a sad day for boxing. Lets hope Canelo VS GGG can revive the sport or at least get it headed in the right direction instead of these spectacle clown shows.

  9. I like both fighters and thought Connor had a chance from the first few rounds but that was a wrong early call ,then after the fourth came I then started to see it going mayweathers way. Got to give credit to Connor thou 10 rounds is pretty good for Connor seeing as ufc fighters only go 5 rounds .Also Mayweather has been boxing for 20 plus years so he is well and truly more of a skilled boxer than Conner and that's all Floyd does . I mean if Floyd went into the octagon ,Conner would own Floyd. But I have to say Conner destroyed FLoyd on the press tour. But hey all in all both super athletes both laughing all the way to the bank and that's my two cents 🙂

  10. Floyd talking that he was going to win automatically because he saw from the diaz fight with McGregor he saw conor get tired lmao and saying it like he promiced lmao he a fucking joke Floyd you a lame and McGregor too he a lame, nate diaz can easily fuck both of them up in a real  outside fight Stockton motherfuckers wut!

  11. MAYWEATHER, JUGÓ Y JUGÓ EN ESA PELEA DEMOSTRÓ SER INMENSAMENTE SUPERIOR A ESE "PAYASITO IRLANDÉS" THE MONEY UN BOXEADOR YA RETIRADO DE 40 AÑOS, SE VIO MUCHO MEJOR EN TODO. ESE PAYASO DEL UFC HIZO EL RIDÍCULO, NO TIENE NADA QUE HACER EN EL BOXEO. SUCEDIÓ LO QUE ERA MUY PREVISIBLE. JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJ

  12. Dana quote; ''I think you HAFTA have negative ppl.'' Its NOT negative ppl. If and when someone disagree's with you Dana, it doesn't mean they are, ''Negative ppl.'' Dana such a Jerk and I've been watching for a longggg time. He always has been. Awesome fight, I was really impressed by Connor. Honestly, I honestly thought Floyd was just gonna totally dominate Connor and whoop his shhh early and quickly. For Connor to even get in the Ring AND hang for 10 rounds, wow…nothing but Respect for Connor. Connor should have nothing but pride.

  13. I see Floyd took it easy on McGregor. Why not? It's for entertainment purposes anyway. Another whopping payday for MoneyMay and the biggest payday for McGregor ever. As hopefully anyone can see! Shit was almost like a half ass sparring session

  14. It's simple, Floyd is the best pound for pound Boxer in the world. The best of the best boxers have taken on Floyd, and everyone has lost. Connor took the best boxer in the world on in a Boxing match, and like every other opponent, he lost. There is NO point talking about a MMA fight, as Floyd will NEVER do a MMA fight. Plus, 10 rounds of entertainment in a Boxing match, or less than 60 seconds of MMA carnage? It would be sad to see Floyd get destroyed in no time in the octagon, the now 50-0 champion doesn't deserve to go out being humiliated and hurt like that, and you have to be delusional to think Connor wouldn't leave Floyd bleeding and sleeping in seconds under MMA rules. Floyd won fair and square, but Connor has balls to Box the greatest Boxer on the planet. This was a Boxing match and not a MMA fight for a good reason. 50-0, Floyd is the best at the sport of Boxing, perhaps of all time.

  16. Conor's only hope of actually winning would have been to have the conditioning to go the distance (and then some). When his legs went…so did his punch strength…and his chances. It was entertaining at least. Far better than Ali vs Inoki in '76. Congrats Floyd…you love the big $ too much to retire.
