  1. I know it's hard to pay attention with ADD Karen and Alan but it was said like 100 times by Dana himself that yes Jonny has to go up in weight if he wants to fight. So why are you calling him out? This podcast is embarrassing but with MMA you're very limited on available media especially lately.

  2. Karyn, No disrespect, But do you guys Research/Follow up on some of these fighters history/Back grounds?
Example. Valentina Shevchenko. She's a 16x World Muay Champion.
Defeated Joanna (Champion) Jedrzejczyk 3 times. You know how bad ass Joanna is.
All I'm saying is some of these fighter have more ring/experience to handle such fighter as Holly Holm.
Hence why Holly Missed most of her shots in Chicago. (Watch the slow mo breakdown)
Love your work, enjoy your show, but you gotta look real deep in some of these "Global" fighters.
Valentina, & Joanna (C) Started way young & have more fight time as some of these fighters.
    My Prediction. Shevchenko over Pena.

  6. I think Johny is done as a welterweight. I didnt realize he is 1-4 in his last 5. It will be interesting to see who Alan gets next. March 3rd is UFC Fight Night 106 (on a Friday). March 4 is UFC 209, both cards dont have a main event as of today. I was the one who bought up the fact of Mike and Tyron. Demian Maia said on MMAfighting's The MMA hour the Monday after UFC 205, he didnt want to fight unless he was for sure either yes or no getting the next shot at Tyron. Its 95% sure that we are doing the rematch. Mike and Yoel are fighting. I think both are money desperate and dont want to face who is in their division. Thanks Ronda and Conor who made $3 million in one fight. WSOF 34 went down in NYC on Saturday. 1 fight that shocked me was the WSOF Welterweight Championship between Jake Shields vs Jon Fitch (Champ). Jon said afterwards he had a questionable MRI and still fought. Rashad had the same thing and couldnt get a fight at UFC 205 and 206. Something is up. Also, he is likely retiring. Plus WSOF Bantamweight Champion, Marlon Morales is a free agent and was inspired by Dom and Cody and thinks he can fight in the UFC he is waiting for offers. WSOF Lightweight Champion Justin Gaethje has 1 more fight but he said he wants to test free agent. UFC Tonight is off until the 18th. They are back Saturday Jan 14th for UFC Fight Night 103 weigh in 10. Yair Rodriguez vs BJ Penn. Fight Pass Feature Prelim in Womens Strawweight Division Jocelyn Jones Lybarger vs Nina Ansaroff.

  8. Johny's desire in the fight is not there like it was, or for a fighter in general. I actually do like his interviews outside the cage as I find them entertaining, and he is like you both point out is a good dude, but unintentionally hilarious in not seeing the contradictions he constantly says about wanting to fight at 170lbs. but has given the same song and dance several ties in a row only to miss weight by several pounds when he is even able to make it onto the scale when he isn't outright hospitalized, because of deer meat. lmao

  10. First off congrats on 100 guys. UFC 207 was a huge success for us fans but if you look at WME-IMG, I dont think it was. Their girl Ronda couldnt beat Amanda Nunes for the UFC Womens Championship. Their rival CAA's TJ Dillashaw dominated John Lineker you would think he would get the next shot at Cody. That story practically writes itself. I am not talking harsh about Ronda. I think the negatives has to do with her team around her. Her mother, Dr. Ann Maria Rios, called out Edmund after Bethe and right before Holly. Basically from 24:45 to the end of the video, she basically says he hit the jackpot when Ronda walked in. After watching this fight she did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhelhurItP4&t=1533s. Also, she is represented by WME-IMG, they were so desperate to have Ronda as UFC Womens Champion that it wasnt funny. She didnt even wear the Reebok gear to the weigh ins. I thought she should have had at least 1 warm up fight. Miesha Tate did a great job as the UFC 207 expert last week. Especially Wednesday, she called it, Ronda wouldnt be able to survive Amanda cause Amanda and Holly have the same reach. She did a great job on the desk. Hope she does more work at FS1. With TJ winning and him being represented by Bjorn in that union, it made UFC FN 103 main card opener interesting, #5 Bryan Caraway vs #6 Jimmie Rivera, could go a long way in deciding who faces Cody. Plus it would be the first time Bryan fought since Miesha decide to take a break from fighting. Cody winning ended a two year drought of hell at TAM that started back at The Ultimate FIghter 22 when Conor accused Urijah of having a bad relationship with Duane Ludwig then TJ running away to be with Duane, Urijah failing to beat Dom at UFC 199 then taking a break. I was nervous when it went to the judges cause Dom loves them. 16 of his 22 wins were by the judges. Cody basically outplayed Dominick. Dominick handled it great. He will be back. Amanda made UFC On Fox 23 very interesting. The winner of #1 Valentina Shevencko vs #2 Juliana Pena will more than likely get the next shot at Amanda.

  12. Garbrandt vs. Dillashaw would be cool to see by April. I hear Dominick was injured, but it he has been injured before heading into a fight where he still outperformed his opponent. I don't think this will be his last time holding the belt.

    • One thing is clear, dominick was not in the best physical shape we've seen him. That was the first thing I noticed when he weighed in originally, traditionally, and the fight itself. I personally did not see the fight as being spectacular as so many are saying it was, but a rematch "if" Garbrandt still has the belt in the future would be interesting. I knew as everyone did Garbrandt had the power as well as the angling from his Amateur boxing career to land on Cruz, but I personally wish he had done more in the way of attempting to finish the fight instead of hanging back so much, and deciding to wait for a decision.

  14. Pena beating Zingano didn't say that much. Zingano only fights every other year is on her way down, not up, and wouldn't stand a chance against Amanda now. I'm not at all convinced about Pena and think Shevchenko is going to kick her butt.

  16. Ronda's a fraud. That should have been painfully evident after the Holm fight. Not because she lost, but HOW she lost and how terrible she looked.
Ronda is kind of like a scripted WWE champion who sells tickets well. Only instead of fake matches, you lean the match-ups in her favor so she keeps winning and you do everything in your power to keep her away from people (Cyborg) who will expose the woman behind the curtain.
Ronda was/is a for-profit hype train that delivered extremely well until it ran out of fuel. The UFC made a huge amount of money, women had their new heroine, and Ronda became really famous.
It's over now. It's done. Ronda can't compete with serious WMMA opponents who are not easily thrown and who can strike.
Hype trains often derail. They just don't always derail so violently, suddenly and completely as Ronda's did.

    • Ditto on the 1st part, not sure on the 2nd bit. Really hard to call and I backed Nunes against Rousey and Cody against Cruz. In fact on 207 I only got Lineker and Smolka wrong… Called Gastelum against Kennedy too on 206 and still think this one's tough. Whatever I think now is subject to change.

    • Bowmanganie This fight was supposedly one of the only times Ronda has gotten ppv points and her last few wins have earned her under 200k each with no ppv.

If amanda can get a ppv fight or 2 in the post ronda ufc where champions get more money because of conor…she could easily out earn ronda

  18. KB, love your podcast! It does bum me out a little that you get so discheveled by insecure ppl though. The negative things people say are rarely reflective of the reasons they say them. PPL usually post stupid stuff B/C they don't have a strong sense of self (a.k.a they're insecure). It's not really about the pillow hugging, it's about them feeling smart, important, etc, because they pointed out an ostensible flaw in someone else. Posting it also lets them feel powerful because they can avoid the consequences of saying dumb stuff face to face. You're awesome, just keep doing what you're doing.
