  2. Awesome podcast as always. Max gave the finger to Dana imo. He had a bad year outside of the cage with his body and how it shut down at UFC 226. Max should stay at Lightweight and be that dominate champion that we all know he can be. Lightweight is clugged up due to the UFC 229 fallout being pushed back to January 29th ala why Dustin is pissed. Its hard to book fights at Lightweight not knowing how long Khabib and Conor will be out.

Go to off what Karyn said about Nicco. I feel like the Womens flyweight division was booked because Valentina lost to Amanda Nunes for the UFC Womens Bantaweight Championship. Dana wanted her to be a champ like yesterday. People may not like it but Nicco defeated Roxanne Modafferi to win the UFC Women's Flyweight Championsihp. I think Nicco was set up for failure cause she was the lowest ranked woman on her cycle of the Ultimate Fighter and she wasn't supposed to win the show. Valentina is a 135er fighting at 125 and Joanna was making her debut at 125 fighting for the title that didn't make zero sense like Jessica Eye said at her media scrum. Either her or Kaitlyn should have fought Valentina for the title to make sense. It was set up for Valentina to win. I think Dana and casual fans were shocked that it was a closer fight than it should have. In my opinion, the difference was those 5 takedowns that Valentina landed. Joanna outstroke her barely 124-118. Every time its a split decision like Valentina vs Amanda II, fans will cry foul and robbery 90% of the time, depending on who the hell it is.
