MMA H.E.A.T.’s Karyn Bryant spoke via Skype with UFC Welterweight title challenger Tyron Woodley and heard what he had to say about his upcoming fight with Champ Robbie Lawler, scheduled for UFC 201 on July 30, 2016. Tyron talks about the risk of ring rust (he last fought in January 2015), his training with Duke Roufus’€™ team and Stephen “€œWonderboy”€ Thompson’€™s chances for a title fight. Tyron also explains in great detail why he’s got the perfect skill set to dethrone Lawler when others have failed to do so.

      Hey, i know it's a bit late but a found the question interesting. I think he's talking about Nick's hability to make people come at him, and use their foward momentum to maximize his punching power when he counters. Nick threw a jab/hook punch when Lawler was coming at him, the punch he took had his own punch foward momentum and Nick's counter punch behind it, so it was really hard, i think that's why the punch didn't look too strong, but had a powerful impact, that's my opinion, hope it helps you!

    He's talking about how much he deserves the title shot and shit. Wonderboy deserves it way more and now that wonderboy is next in line to fight him, now somehow wonderboy doesn't "deserve" the title shot but nick Diaz does. All this talk about deserving title shot but it somehow only pertains to him. Narssistic fag. Ducking wonderboy it's obvious. He wants to milk the title by fighting anyone other than wonderboy. What a bitch.

      Wonderboy is on a 7 fight win streak he has to get the title shot. It's clear tyron is ducking wonderboy hard. Why the fuck would tyron say wonderboy should fight robbie after I bet if it was the other way around tyron would be one of those "welter-whiners"

      I'd like to see lawler lose because he has been edging out decisions after losing 3 rounds resting for a final surge at the end.
      But, I think woodley has painted himself into a corner and has to win or retire with all his BS. Perhaps he's just "selling" the fight, but he better win after talking like Ronda without winning or defending the title multiple times.

    I can win by submission- Jacare failed 4 times before he got the choke against Lazy 185 Robbie

    I am a Better wrestler- Hendricks outmuscled Woodley and Controlled his body the whole time and landed more takedowns on Tyron.
    So Hendricks is the stronger wrestler

    They don't know what I'm going to do- Same with Rory and Rob had a answer for the unknown.

    I have the speed- Rory is much faster and Lawler beat him to the punch every time in the first fight.

    On top of that he will be trigger shy just like Jon Jones and freeze up. He's trying new techniques that hasn't shown to be effective and we've seen him do like a philly she'll weave which looked akward as fuck.

    Woodley may have more power than Rory and Condit but he doesn't have a chin like pre-USADA Hendricks, Rory, or Condit. Condit and Kelvin took his "earth shattering" KO power he claims to have and he put all his power into those shots.

    Think about how all these guys Robbie would be finished with if they had a chin like Tyron
