UFC 228’s Tyron Woodley was at Hinoki & The Bird in Century City for a media lunch today. MMA H.E.A.T.’s Wade Eck was there to hear the UFC Welterweight Champion explain why Darren Till has been such a great source of motivation for his fight camp. Similar to the beliefs shared by Robert Whittaker on Monday (UFC Champ Robert Whittaker Talks TUF 28, Almost Quitting MMA, Overweight Opponents, Gastelum + GSP), Tyron Woodley also explains how he feels about fighters who don’t make weight and why he has no interest in fighting a “back-up” fighter such as Kamaru Usman. In addition, Tyron talks about the UFC 227 title fight between former UFC Flyweight Champ Demetrious Johnson and the new champ Henry Cejudo + more!

  2. In the case that Till misses weight. If Woodley loses, he'd still have his belt.. but more likely the judges would be pressured to give the decision to Woodley, unless Till dominates him. just like they gave it to Whittaker when Romero clearly had the edge. Till is also not as experienced as Usman and will get beat by Woodley.
