One thing that was NEVER mentioned before the first Diaz fight & was only mentioned after, was by Joe Rogan: Conor was suffering from staph infection 2 weeks before Diaz I and he was on antibiotics. Conor never mentioned that ONCE! And never used that as an excuse……..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brgtjpSszKM&feature=youtu.be&t=194

To me Conor won the necessary number of rounds to win the MMA bout but Nate won the fight. I get that the leg kicks look damaging in real time but the truth is it did more damage to Conor (no way of knowing that during the fight of course). After the fight Nate went out to party and Conor went to the hospital. 1-1 now so a 3rd fight is necessary.

Mac Chicken was not humble after his loss, he got humbled because he was humiliated, that is a big difference. And he is is not 145. He cuts a lot of weight to make that. Look at this video where he is anorexic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQDkDW11iQU
As a matter of fact he is always bigger than the 145ers he fights. All of his fans see nothing wrong there. But when he fights someone taller than him and weighs as much and a little more it becomes this huge size disadvantage, lol

nate lied when he said he was only 176…. He was definitely 185…
If diaz took him down gsp style, it would have been over.
If diaz took him down gsp style, it would have been over.
conman mcfraudster is clearly juicing.
someone with that frame and that size shouldnt be hitting that hard.
karate style fighters dont have heavy hands, like thompson / machida etc.
Diaz has heavier hands and still has to land more than one shot to knock you down.
Diaz was treated as if he was the challenger. That's called media spin and cognitive dissidence. In point sports there was a winner, in reality it is a draw.
I love Karen's mind

Nate Diaz 3,4,5
Please if you gave round 4 to Conor tell me how? When he didn't land as many sufficient punches as Diaz. I gave Second round to Conor as i show in the comment below. So Karyn Bryant, and Alan Jouban, if you say you Score and the people who actually looked at the facts of the fight are in the fourth round Diaz had landed more punches and should have scored more… what did you base your facts off of? Just the score of the Judges who are over 50's old and did not see most punches… and lack of "Replay reviews" to help improve their point scoring. Damage taken is not an effective way of score if you are just judging a fight on how much blood comes out.
Diaz Brothers are known for scar tissue and bleed a lot. This always makes idiot people that do not know them say… like Alan Jouban, just did in his podcast. "Nate got beat up and bloodied." Basically, saying if your face is bloody you are loosing the fight….
I kind know people are not really wanting to look at this in slow motion to see what actually hits… but i did. anyways hope to hear from you and yes my grammar sucks and typos all over…. but fuck it :p

6TH time I watched 0.5 speed and used a clicker. Conor was able get a 45 landed hit on Diaz.
Now Diaz 49 landed hits in this slowed motion. People were counting the hits that Conor landed on Nate's glovers while his hands were up. which you can see clearly in 0.5 speed. So my score for that round 4 would be 10-9 Diaz for punches and control of clinch. This fight was robbed. Sad but boxing has been known to do this also. It was a great fight and I understand this was good for UFC For Conor to win. But by all rules 3,4,5 go to Diaz. You can't take boxing rules for knock downs which basically mean if you knock the person down in the round and they landed more punches landed, you still take the round for the knock down. Then change the rules in the 4 where it is basically a boxing match with only 2-4 kicks thrown in the 4th round. Scoring for that round would have to be control of positions and landed punches. Which does not mean landed hits to the arms or gloves, those blocked attacks which do not give points. Still the numbers are so close that I can see why some split it. Still you can see the punches that hit the gloves and the guard of Nate really easy on .5 speed and round that time Joe Rogan "OHHHHH what a great combo by Conor." I mean score for me on rounds Conor 1,2 and Nate 3,4,5. Which we can see they actually use the hit landed system used in boxing to score points in round 3,5…. but 4 they missed 6 punches that Conor landed… and missed 12 landed hits for Diaz. Why do people see Diaz as not hitting i think one they are not counting all Clinch strikes for Diaz or the front kick he landed or counter-slaps that he landed twice. We see him land punches in bunches but the judges and fans get stuck on the counter shots of Conor wanting a knock and forget to count. Sad if we had replays for end of each round we could have caught this mistake but the beauty of our upset and Cinderella stories would not happen when we want them to. This is what we call a stolen fight but it was so close that it was probably a mistake and not planned since we are talking about 4 more punches that Diaz landed then Conor was able to.
oh scoring for those also that I scored
1 round 10-9 Conor
2 round 10-8 Conor
3 round 10-8 Diaz (why, well he was saved by the bell and John was really close to jumping in. The fight was basically over, since Conor was not defending against Diaz because he was tired.)
4 round 10-9 Diaz
5 round 10-9 Diaz
Conor 46- 47 Diaz
Seems people want to look at 2 Round where people argue and its two knock downs which makes it a 10-8 for Conor which i don't know why it wasn't.
By Boxing points 3 round should have been a 10-8 for the lack of any activity by Conor and the punches in bunches by Diaz which landed a huge amount in comparison to Mcgregors but it was only a 10-9, but one judge had it 10-8. Which by all means in the last minute of round 3 Count was close to having John step in since he was not defending properly and had that not been Conor he would have stepped in. So That is why Glenn Trowbridge scored 10-8.
Round 4 is where the Judges score for each of them
Glenn Trowbrigde: 4th round 38-37 points scored for the round for Conor.
Jeff Mullin: 4th round 39-37 points scored for the round for Conor.
Derek Cleary: 4th round 39-37 points scored for the round for Conor.
Where is the 6 other punches Conor had… But, worse!!! What happened to the 12 punches to score on Conor go for Nate? We know Conor is Notorious for leaving his arms to his waist which is easy to say he leaves himself open to counter you. But, pays for it when a guy can take the counter and throw back in bunches. Diaz taking damage for it and bleeding making it look like he is getting hurt which no doubt it is hurting him in the long run. He still is the worse for a counter fighter like Conor. Since he can take the punches and swing back… getting points for the hits he lands.
But, Conor fans look at the Counter hits and see power behind the shots and count them more for what they are worth. He knocked Diaz down, but was he actually hurt since he was able to see the situation just fine, getting in a guard position and heel kick ready to fly as he scoots close to Conor going for leg sweeps with legs. Diaz's brothers are known for the chin and when Knocked down are very good at getting into position for on coming attackers trying to finish them off, bring them to their BJJ game.
I think those leg kicks destroyed the balance of the heavy lead foot boxer style fighter. One pressure towards an area where you are unbalanced can easily knock you down. A very smart strategy by Conor to do the RDA plan. It worked and if he kept doing that more rather then trying to knock out Diaz in 1,2 round's we might have seen a fast little Irish man picking Diaz apart. But the 2 times Diaz was able to check the leg kicks was enough to hurt Conor and revise his plan into a headhunt game again. Gassing in the 2 round winning the first 3 mins and taking the round with 2 knock downs.
Though Diaz during round 2 came back and combo-ed Conor in the clinch. Diaz going into the third round took a fast pace on the tired Conor and dominated by hitting the Run-Counter style which is similar Floyd Mayweather let them come to you and counter and back away. But Conor being so gassed was not able to be move around like Mayweather… partly because you can clinch in boxing like you can the way you do in MMA. Conor keeps his hands to his waist letting Diaz take one to two punches on a counter and throws back hitting his head and stomach in bunches. Clinching when pushing Conor to the corner to put pressure down on the smaller height fighter to gas him more out and combo his body and head with punches.
Conor almost looking like he was done in the third round was saved by the bell. He was taking huge breathes and went away from the RDA Plan going into a punching match with Diaz in the fourth.
Fourth was Conor's so called second wind which didn't land as many hits as Diaz. He was moving away and stopping to try getting a combo on the perusing Nate Diaz. Getting his Counter's in just to get hit back and grabbed and pushed to the cage.
Nate pushing Conor to the cage and putting weight on him and punching in the clinch was Diaz reason for getting so many untested shots from a tired Conor looking at the clock.
That is all i have to say i know there will be Conor Dick riding fans mad. But, i really was scoring properly. You can see Diaz lose round 2 but, not the round 4 where we do not see them count some of the landed hits. Which for Conor was 6 missing hits that were landed on Diaz and for Diaz 12 hits that are missing that landed on Conor.
I see so many that said Nate fought horrible online and shows not crediting his skill at all. He only checked two times and it was enough to stop the leg kicks and getting Conor back into Nate's game plan to become a counter fighter. He was able to know he could take the punches and land his own in volumes to get points in the fight that might go all rounds. He was Clinching and putting his 176 pounds with a 6'0" height on top of Conors shoulders to make him more tired. These are the reasons why Nate is a professional. He knows what he is good at and has been doing it a long time. Anger someone or hurt them will change their "Kick lead leg" plan and sometimes turn their plans back into stand up fist fighting. Making it a boxing game. This is why Diaz should get credit by these boosting idiots that podcast and review the fight.
In the end we leave it to a group of people that don't use replay and all Judges are over the age of 50. Wearing glasses and would probably not catch all punches which they did not. This is a huge reason for the picking up of a mans arm in the wrong decision for who won in all actuality. Anyways good fight and we might not see it again… since Dana White knows who won and has his team boosting a man on ever points…. but people are counting the 4 round and seeing it was a lost round for Conor.

Nates striking isn't as good as Conors Karyn and Alan? Look at Nates face! Nate never got rocked? He got dropped 3 times and his face was mashed. The American bias has been clear after this fight. He clearly wins 3 rounds and has superior and more efficent striking throughout yet people still saying Nate was robbed, bewildering.
Karyn…nice haircut. Great commentary.

lmao, knock down isent allways something, just move your back leg while take a punch to the face you get dropped, didnt mean you got hurt… a cut dont mean you got hurt… turn your back and run for minutes in the octagon away from your oponent is not bringing the fight. and yeah Conor did more dmg to himself doing leg kicks haha he should not get points for hurting himself more then he hurt Diaz 😀

KB you are an absolute wonderful person and I feel like you give the fighters comfort throughout fight week with your warm and motherly vibes. I have to say I hope Lorenz and Jouban maintain a friendly relationship because Lorenz is an absolute ANIMAL. It's funny because I bet on Jouban EVERY single fight; I just trust the dude with my money. I guess I'm also bias because I'm a 23 yr old who just graduated UCLA and live in Burbank, so he's the hometown boy. HOWEVER, if he fought Lorenz I'd put a lot on the Monsoon and that'd be my first time betting against Jouban. Lorenz is too fast and I just don't think that Jouban is near his level yet. I can't believe he thought Neil would win this fight, he's well rounded and tough but gets dropped EVERY fight, he has bleh standup as is too slow, but Larkin is an 'expert' at striking look what he did to poor Ponz who's a beast in his own right..and lorenz has good tdd. So basically what I'm saying is do NOT start beef with Lorenz KB pretty much any welterweight but him haha i was like WHAT are you doing! Perhaps Jouban can read this comment and use it as motivation but ya I think he needs a few fights before Lorenz and should keep working hard on his Plyos/cardio – his last fight was scaring me at the end..They might try and give him someone like Bryan Barb but Jouban should fight a guy like Ponz that'd be crazy ..or someone like The Juggernaut would be a good fight or even Colvington.. I think he can beat Jake but idk if could defend Colby's takedowns or hang with Ponz in the striking..but sooner or later he's guna start getting some of these big names and having to go a HARD three rounds.. It'd be nice if they gave him Alberto Mina though- Joban would light that dude up and give him his first loss, plus he just luckily Ko'd the goat Mike Pyle so I hope they feed him to Jouban lol..anyways gl keep doing your thang love the podcast!

If McGregor was running, then why was Nate's face so busted up? Hmm. Anyways, much respect to both fighters.

Straight up milf keeps creepily starring at him, smh, she won't even hide it.
So you're saying I shouldn't look at the person who is talking to me… You must be some kind of hero in social settings since you know how it all works. Oh wait, you only type to people and don't actually get out much…
+Karyn Bryant Unbelievable all these internet perverts, scrubs, and thugs. Be encouraged Karyn. Don't let these idiots get to you. You're doing a good job. You're an inspiration as a black woman across the board.
They're having a conversation you cretin. Perhaps you should try it sometime.
Karyn slingin fiah 😀

This is a guy right? The curly one
It amazes me that no one noticed Diaz stance change. I could see that he was favoring that knee in the fight (obvious ACL issue). That is why he dropped so easily but not one person has mentioned it. He also is very good at leaning forward and then leaning back and rolling with punch or evading. He couldn't do that with the ACL issue. Conor didn't cause that issue because it was there in the beginning. I agree Conor won but obviously Nate was affected. He also couldn't extend well with what we found out was a pre-existing rib injury after the fight. If you've ever had any of those injuries, you know how they affect you. Hats off to Nate for getting through that fight with those injuries. Karen is the first to mention these things.

Conor got saved by the bell in the 3rd with a Diaz shadowboxing the whole camp and Mcgregor blowing 300k on one.
Look at the scores at 7:57. Something doesn't add up if Conor won with 1 minute of control and 50 less strikes.
It was most likely control against the cage or grappling control because Conor dominated 4+ minutes of Rd1 so shouldn't his control time be higher than 1 minute?
That's overall strikes not round by round strikes, also Nate threw way more punches so it wouldn't be surprising if he landed more.

Very good points from Alan about the "running". McGregor was never running to not engage. Every time he "ran", he immediately started fighting again; if he was running from the fight, he would've kept running to avoid confrontation.
I'll admit, I used to hate it when guys ran like that. The biggest one that comes to mind is Gustafsson vs Cormier. But in that fight as well, Gustafsson never stopped engaging; he ran to get in better position.
Anyways, great stuff (from Karyn and Alan)!

this is not any other event , it's the ufc. It was a draw but the 3rd fight makes most sense.

the only time when nate was really having any success was when he used his weight advantage to hold conor up against the fence (something he bitched about other fighters doing when he was skinny)… conor smash him at 155 i rekon.. his cardio will be better at that weight too

Great podcast you guys! One thing though people need to be careful about making fun of this CBD oil situation. It may be a very useful medicine when more research is able to be done and the stigma is gone, and I think Nate was smart to spread a little awareness.

Here is the problem when it comes to excuses. If Conor made them comments it would be terrible with the media. Conor had staff last fight and a busted ankle this fight

I watched in through the Live viewer on PS4. It collapsed a total of 6 times. Twice at the finish of two fights that I were looking forward to. I got to watch Cowboy and Johnson finish their opponents in the replay after the fight. Gonna be a long time till I spend my money on a PPV again cause of this.
the ps4 is for gaming. duh!

I can see the 10-8 round. 3rd round , Nate was the ome being the aggressor, pushing the fight. Conor was running away and resetting himself. Nate controled the octagon the whole round and landed numerous combos. Nate also controlled all grappling exchanges.

Man, Nate looked so down after the fight. As tough as the Diaz brothers are and as stern as Nick is, Nate often looks like he needs a hug. Give that man a hug Karyn!
not a hug… a bong more like
diaz bros. = bad attitude negative energy bros.
some thug lovin
man he fought 25min and still smiled abit, id like to see what youd look like after fighting conor for 25min. i know id be tired af.
Lmao he was even laughing and making jokes in his interview and press conference. I'll always be a fan of his and Nick

I scored the fight a draw. I gave Connor the 2nd round but I thought he lost the 4th. It is one thing to back peddle while firing shots and it's another thing to literally turn your back and run. That is the equivalent of taking knee or spitting out your mouth piece. I thought he was willing to sacrifice that round in order to pay dividends in the 5th but it did not pan out that way. One other thing. From my observation, Diaz's success in round 3 had less to do with Connor getting tired or Nate making adjustments. Connor got hurt throwing a leg kick. At that moment there was a collective "he's hurt" when he landed a kick earlier in the 3rd round. Either way I am not mad at the decision.
This is why you're not a judge
I don't have to be. I am giving objective observation. If Connor hadn't hurt his leg he could have possibly won more decisively.
+Columbus Warren whatever

nate is not a welterweight either it realy is ovious karyn is ob conors dick
+Will bains nobody is crying im just saying to everyone including karyn and alan saying that nate got outclassde is stupid because conor got finished in the first and barley won this time thats all im saying
+jorge humberto luevano alarcon and again you're whinging
+Will bains ok
+Ryoji Kitomi Thank you for understanding!!
thats just bullshit.. nate is bigger than most welterweights! he just used to cut alot of weight to make 155 i think it was originally bcoz his brother was fighting at 170 but hes a big boy hes definetely a welter weight with the ability to cut to light weight.. just like ide say conor is a light weight with the ability to cut to feather weight.. but hes only 5'9"
nate is not a welterweight either it realy is ovious karyn is ob conors dick
+Ryoji Kitomi no im sorry but saying that conor is " clearly the better fiighter" is some bullshit he got tapped in the first one and then "won" a close decision so she is clearly on the conor hype train
