  2. Woodley keeps bringing up Ferguson and had brought up racism in other interviews. Very good fighter, but makes himself less likeable because he focuses his discu on division. I thought he won the fight against Thompson, but it's hard too root for him.

  4. Tyron was getting Booed a lot before Donald got elected. Surprised you would bring that up Karyn. I don't understand the booing either for Tyron but its not race related in my opinion. I thinks its more about butt hurt fans because he was talking a big money fight instead of a WB fight after he won the belt.

Karyn Bryant big fan of your podcast keep it up. One thing I want to add that the 'hate' Tyron is getting has absolutely nothing to do with his race. Hear me out for a second, he got heat from the fact that he camped for a very long time on him 'deserving' a title shot when it was subjective between him and wonderboy. Although many people didn't like it he got his shot eventually and won the title fair and square. Now immediately he went on to totally dismiss wonderboy seconds after winning the title when he was on the same situation few months ago. I don't think fans are racist, people adore Jon Jones, Anderson Silva and Mighty mouse. Even after many bad decision making from Jones part, he is still adored by many. You as a friend of Tyron should send this message to him, the whole race card use is a bit delusional from his part. He is the only black fighter that attaches every thing that does not go his way to race. Actually, him constantly using that card kind of detaches himself from the fans.

  8. Agreed I literally will never hate on Yoel for any rule he might break. He is a beast and has improved at the age of 39!  He needs his titleshot now then Jacare  def needs one after maybe Mousasi will be there too infact him vs Wiedman would be dope.  I wonder if Eddie would of fared any better if he had still been with Blackzillians and maybe trained with Michael Johnson ??  I have mad respect for Henry n Edgar and that whole squad but just wondering if that old Eddie would of shown up instead ??

  10. That's terrible that the commission would not allow another pro fighter to step in when one ruins another's night. Is that even legal? Alan, it probably was not meant. However, it did get your name out there, so the future is only that more brighter for you.

  12. McGregor and Woodley, both being healthy, should make a defense of their belts in December. If both don't get any scratches, defend their belts again in February. McGregor can then keep both belts….then in April, challenge Woodley for the 170 title.

  14. Of course, Cowboy would have taken the catchweight. You have to be within 7 pounds in New York for a fight to be official. Kelvin was 180 Dana told Andy Nesbit of Fox Sports.com. Cowboy walks around at 175 lbs. He even say he should have been told cause that way he could have gotten back to his walk around weight. I wonder if they didnt let Alan fight cause of his injured hand or would he have jeoparized his fight with Mike Perry at UFC on FOX 22 Paige vs Michelle. There was a boxer who was injured 3 years ago in NY. I think his family was suing the commission, I wonder if that is why they are so cauious. They dont want another suit. Here is a link to the article. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/04/sports/meet-mago-former-heavyweight.html?_r=0. I think Tim was weighing in to get his show money for 205 cause Rashad and Tim are the featured bout for UFC 205. Cowboy is meeting Matt Brown at UFC 206. Matt was supposed to have faced Tarec Saffedine at UFC 207 instead Tarec drew Dong Hyun Kim. I heard off issues that Miesha was going through. Brian Stann brought it up during the post show for UFC 205. Miesha did part of her camp in Thailand. Potentially issues between her and Bryan (wonder if that social media rumors). My guess she had been toying with leaving UFC for a year cause she defeated Jessica Eye back at UFC on Fox 16 in what was billed as a number 1 continder fight. She thought she would get Ronda at UFC 193 but it went to Holly Holm. Think Uncle Dana was saving Ronda from Miesha like he is with Conor. Lets be honest Eddie was an easy stylist fight. I knew Conor would win. Now we are in this hell if you ask hardcore fans cause we want Conor to start defending instead of running away. I wonder if Miesha is just retiring from UFC. I know she was toying with the idea of going down to flyweight but UFC has Bantamweight and Straw weight for women. I give it a year and she may be in Bellator. They have both divisions and Scott Coker wants to crown champions in both in 2017. He is looking for women in both. Colleen Schinder left Invicta and signed with Bellator and will debut at Bellator 170 at Flyweight. He has 125 and 145 for women. I felt bad for Demian Maia cause with this draw you know there is a good chance that he wouldnt get the shot. I think people hate Tyron cause for a year and a half he bitched about getting a shot at Robbie Lawler. He bitched and bitched and got the shot and the belt. It was a weird situation. I dont think race plays a role at all. Its him as an athlete.

  16. There was so much that went on this weekend that Bellator 164 flew under the radar. They crowned a new Bellator Welterweight Champion in the main event, Douglas Lima regained the belt with a 3rd round knockout of Andrey Korschkivov : 81 seconds in. In the co main Noad Lahat bounced back in his debut submitted Scott Cleve 2:26 into round 1. Next Saturday is a busy day for UFC/Bellator. 1215 PM on fight pass is UFC Fight Night 99 Moussai vs Hall 2. At 7PM coverage starts for UFC 100th Fight Bader vs Nogueira 2. At 9PM at the same time as Main card is on FS1. Its Bellator 165 Benson Henderson vs Micheal Chandler for Bellator Lightweight Championship. A fight on that main card that could be a sleeper is a Womens Flyweight Division Between Sheilla Padlilla vs KeriAnn Taylor-Melendez in her pro MMA debut. For those that dont know Keri is the wife of UFC Lightweight Gilbert Melendez. Dont be surprised if Gilbert is cornering Keri.

  18. Nope Karyn! You're definitely wrong! The reason why a lot of fans don't want TW is bec he is so annoying considering he is supposed to be a champ. He is a whiner. To me he seems to be so insecure that whatever he's saying is only a defense mechanism. WB won 3-2. Numbers don't lie. Yeah WB's pretty banged up more than TW but here's the thing. There's 5 rounds. Unfortunately for tyrun he didn't finish the job as well as WB! & both nearly had a chance to KO'D @ other. Look at the other Champ Connor. He's so cocky & everything & talk shit but why is he well loved? Not only by Irish people but mostly all ufc fan loving people, bec as a champ he backs up what he's saying. And oh btw Alan I like u! U seem to be a nice person like WB

  20. I swear that everyone keeps hating on Yoel Romero. This is getting ridiculous now. This man beat Jacare ( with controversy) but knocked out Weidman ( a true champion) with a good strategy. No one wants to really talk about him or really give him an in depth interview. This man is 39 years old and smoking everyone.

  22. Come on guys. Woodley got booed because he DEMANDED respect before the fight in the press conferences. It has nothing to do with him being black. People don't like DC because he also DEMANDS respect, and he's hyper emotional about it when he doesn't get it.

    • He also fought much more popular fighters.
Karyn brought up DC. It is somewhat like his situation was. People were not hating on him because he is black. They were hating him, because they loved Jon Jones… aaand Jon was black too last time I checked.

Woodley beat Lawler, beloved by pretty much everyone.
Then, immediately after, he talked about big money fights and seemed like he wanted to duck Wonderboy.
Also, when Woodley talks shit it seems disrespectful and not just like part of the game. Connor for example talks a ton of shit, but we all know it to be a show. He shows humility after the fights.

Woodley is just not as likeable as some other guys.
He needs to defend his title a couple of times or just fight someone people dislike even more. Problem solved.

  24. Eddie was some what successful at the kicking the lead leg in the start of the fight.problem is he was getting tagged when closing the distance and became overly cautious because of that.we are watching a very special fighter.
