    • P.S Gokan Saki will be freaking awesome IF they start him off slow with some stand-up fighters!? Which would make more sense although, you cannot stop the opponent from taking him down, just watch out for those quick knees 😛 Mr Wrestler … Im surprized Bellator (MMA) did not get to Saki first!?!?! P.P.S Come on Jouban, kick some arse dude! Take somebody out in devastating fashion, as you are deffo in line for a gorgeous KO sometime soon, im sure of it dude!

  1. 12-6 elbows is a stupid rule to begin with. How can u even determine it's exactly vertical/12-6 in realtime. I saw two elbows. The first one wasn't illegal imo. The second one is more iffy. Again, like I already said, u can always argue with "seemingly" 12-6 elbows. Even with instant replay it's hard. Plus I don't think it had an effect on the fight anyway

  2. I don't see it as Kevin Lee calling out the #1 contender (i don't see Khabib as the #1 anymore btw). Instead, I see him calling out a higher ranked Khabib who missed weight that resulted in the cancellation of a big title eliminator fight. Khabib shouldn't be "rewarded" for being unprofessional. He messed up, so he should deal with the consequences. He should now fight a lower ranked fighter and Kevin Lee sounds good to me. Like rumored, apparently there was some kind of plan of making that Ferguson Barboza rematch. If that's the case, Khabib vs Lee makes sense

  3. Kish was dealing with air/pain choke (and was hand fighting all the way) and Chiesa was dealing with blood choke and stopped hand fighting. Not saying Yamasaki was right or wrong, I'm just saying it's not fair to compare the two because they were different. From what I see, Herrig's forearm was across Kish's throat, thus not a blood choke

    • kopxpert Listen to chiesa explain what he was doing……he could no longer hand fight but he was repositioning his shoulders to change the angle of the choke and it must have been working atleast a little bit considering the moment it was really locked in and stoppage was a few seconds apart and it. only takes a few seconds as im sure you know but he was very alert and mobile ill say for lack of better words, immediately following the stoppage. If he was going out ,in my experience, its hard to just pop right back up like that and be so alert aswell

    • First of all, I'm just simply pointing out that we shouldn't compare the two chokes. Now, since u brought up Chiesa's explanation, how about u listen to what Matt Serra who's a BJJ black belt himself said about this. He ain't biased. Chiesa however, of course he's gonna defend himself and understandably so. He's likely not gonna say he was gonna go out or tap out wouldn't he? Yes, Yamasaki was a little early for my liking but me personally, I agree with Serra that Chiesa was gonna get choked out anyway. There are probably black belts out there who agree Chiesa as well but ppl disagree all the time so no big deal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhdbGp-2Kpc

  4. please change the name to the ufc heat because you are both clearly bias when covering bellator fights. love the podcast but can't stand the hate. jouban should fight his contract out to head over to bellator and finally get paid.

    • Hate??? Neither of us hate Bellator. Plenty of our friends fight and/or work there, and Scott Coker has always been great with me. Looks like you're projecting. Are you telling me everybody but the two of us thought that was a flawless event? And that it's a GOOD thing the prospect, 2 champs and a legend lost?

  5. Why cover Bellator if the majority of it will be negative? Carla did the same thing Chael did in her fight & it wasn't talked about. You work for the UFC and you fight for the UFC, just cover UFC stuff. IMO the Belabor card was better besides the 2 trash title fights. UFC had it's moments here & there but a bunch of decisions.

  6. Hahaha I love how Karyn and florian were just trying to emphasize that the controversy of the fight was more on Yamasaki and not so much on lee, some thought you guys were taking credit from lee but were just criticizing Yamasaki. Great job once again Karyn!

  7. I don't see where the issue is in pooping oneself. If I do not inexplicably poop myself 5-6 times a day I am worried. She is not only cooler and hotter for having pooped herself, but simply not caring one iota is legendary. How many other fighters and people in general living their lives can go through such a thing and be able to keep themselves mentally and physically "especially" mentally together? She an the few who have gone through such an occurrence stand as truly spoken for as Ultimate human beings who know everything is easy after knowing nothing can phase you even the seemingly nightmarish thing as pooping oneself in public, or losing a fight whether legitimate or not nothing changes but an experience one had others still live in fear of happening the unknown. 🙂

  8. Guys, you're all getting it wrong. You keep saying let him go out give him the chance, bla bla bla.
Mario didn't stop it because he thought he was out, news-fricken-flash, Mario stopped the fight because he thought Chiesa tapped, fact.
When he realized oh no that wasn't a tap he didn't simply admit I thought he tapped.
First of all that's clearly what happened but if you want to see it, focus on Chiesa's left hand move toward his chest as if it was the start of a tap and as soon as that happens Mario comes in.
People keeping saying he should have waited for him to go out, guys, NOT if he thought he was tapping!!!
Three of us thought he was starting to tap too but you don't stop the fight at the start of a tap but after a tap so you know it's not a tap. We saw it wasn't a tap but it was too late. So please yell at Mario for jumping the gun on hand movement not thinking Chiesa was out, he never thought that he thought he was tapping, done.
A thumbs up would have saved Chiesa even from Yamasaki that would say I'm fine and I'm NOT tapping right now.
