On this edition of The MMA H.E.A.T. Podcast, Karyn Bryant and UFC Welterweight Alan Jouban celebrate Alan’s recent KO win at UFC Orlando with another “Champagne Podcast!” Alan talks about getting the very important win over his friend Ben Saunders, the Fight Of The Night bonus they received for their efforts and who he’d like to face next after his broken foot heals up. They also discuss the action that went down at UFC 222, where Featherweight Champ Cris Cyborg successfully defended her title against Yana Kunitskaya, and Brian Ortega knocked out Frankie Edgar in the night’s main and co-main events respectively. They also talk about Mackenzie Dern’s win in her UFC debut, the Lombard/Dolloway DQ situation and more!

Karyn is drunk i think)))
IMO Ortega runs right over Holloway 1 takedown 1 well placed strike for a knockdown its over. Look at Holloways 1st loss in the UFC submission triangle/armbar from mount to Porier. Ortega's jiu-jitsu on another level 2nd round TKO or another 3 round submission IMO.
Yea Dern did beat Gabi in Jiu jitsu but only once by points in their first meeting then proceeded to lose the next 5 matches to Gabi lol
i hope when karyn bryant meets andre soukhamtath, that's she would still back up everything she's saying about him in this podcast, when he ask's her about it….and not suddenly start's backpedaling
Well, we all said it on the UFC ON FOX post-fight show too, so… I hear what your saying, but I absolutely WOULD ask him why he made what appeared to be SUCH a bad choice in the fight. Obviously I've never been a pro fighter, but I wouldn't be afraid to call him out on it.
i'm not saying what you said about fight iq was wrong, you were right about that, but if he would watch this show and see the way you were talking, i'm quite sure he would feel a bit disrespected(maybe you can imagine why)but this is your podcast, and were a bit tipsy ,you can act the way you wan't,but calling him out on it,if i wasn't a fighter(witch i'm not)i wouldn't do,but if he asked me ,i would give my honest opinion, not in the rashad evans way(although hilariously funny.)
I drank right along with ya'll….BEST time I've had on one of these. Thank you for being so real, honest, and a friggin good time! #HUGS
I think Struve is just a little too slow to use his size/length to his advantage but what do I know….

You should change the background, it looks like my Dead grandmother house, and seems amateur.
Win or lose, its always great as fight fans to come together on here and send our congrats and well wishes to Alan for a successful fight and camp. That was 3 fights in a row that Alan had a travel, hopefully he gets his wish and fights in Vegas in July when he heals up. If he cant get on UFC 226, there is the Ultimate Fighter 27 finale the night before on a Friday. Sometimes I always thought that Dana sets up fights, he loves it when team mates fights each other like Alan and Ben (both train under Eddie Bravo). Jessica and Tecia tore the roof off. With all due respect, I would have had Mike vs Max open then Illr vs OSP, then Alan vs Ben and Jess vs Tecia main event cause they were fighting for Tecias opporunity at the UFC Womens Strawweight Championship. Felt like Jeremy vs Josh was the main event cause they couldnt find out they were through 4 different combos: first Yoel vs Luke (happened at UFC 221), Yoel vs David Branch (Robert Whittaker had his illness), Jeremy vs T-City (Ortega waited for title shot with win over Frankie Edgar), Jeremy vs Josh cause of the rivarly with Alliance MMA and Team Alpha Male. Even though Tecia lost by decision felt like she finally put herself on the map in the Womens Strawweight Division she felt to 10-2: 6-2 in the UFC both were decision losses. The fans were on their feet at the end of the fight while I was glad that Alan vs Ben was fight of the night their fight told me any other night Jessica vs Tecia hands down fight of the night.
Happy Birthday Wade. 🙂
Please let alan talk…..Lol
Never been one to critique sets or backgrounds but ya gotta update those two old fogy pics in the background. Everything else is legit
Congrats Jouban, great fight with a beautifully vicious finish
I want to see cyborg fight Megan Anderson before fighting anymore bantom weights.
Long time listener, first time posting.
On CB Dollaway and Lombard the KO reminded me of a KO from TUF that CB was on. Didn't look like hardest shot ever either but the guy was confused and had to be reminded over and over what happened. There are different grades of concussions 1-3 and I think its just rare we see level 3. I don't think CB was faking and could or should have continued.

am not the biggest karyn fan,but do like the chemistry between alan and karyn, very natural
All this behind the camera stuff…..Wade needs to make a run at the 170lb title, himself.
this was the BEST episode of the podcast.
Great win for Alan. Happy for you guys
I am from a remote place called ladakh in India and I always listen to your podcast. It always enriching to listen to you guys and I am big Alan fan, congratulations to him. One of my favourite podcast…. Good luck to you two

Congrats Alan on the great fight and KO. I was on the edge of my seat the whole fight lol. Great podcast as always karyn and Alan
Karyn really loves her champagne. She’s kinda tipsy by midway through the show lol
Is it dangerous to get rampage Jackson on the show?
100% alan's smashing dat
Nature Boii both married, they legit just friends. Plus Karen’s husband is the camera man
acdclife94 from what i see karyns husbands rather watch then participate.
Nature Boii chill out bud, how about acting your age.
Really think I'm gonna let you disrespect my husband of 16 years? Get a life. Blocked.
Karyn Bryant lot of people out there growing up in basements with no social skills development
We use those same codes at work.

Putting my self out there ready to accept whatever blessings that come my way. Thanks!
I'm just curious, does UFC give cash for bonuses?
Alexander Vaughan Nope, check in the mail. Takes a month according to the black beast derrick louis
That’s a good question. Getting it deposited would be nice.
ur tits look amazing
Great hard low kick and great timed and placed punch Alan! Well done mate! Nice one all three!
Happy Birthday Wade!
Thanks DrMario Pepper! Appreciate it.
I know alot of people are excited about khabib vs ferguson, but Holloway vs Ortega is the DREAM FIGHT! But i am #blessedera
How about that Brian Ortega?
I think it's Alan house. Yea Disney world and those type places will kill your feet. I'm sorry to say this but unless Karyn can pull some serious strings, which who knows maybe she can, there's no way in hell Allen is getting ko of the year. Tc just kod Frankie lol..I give Allen Heart points but Style? Meh, not so much. Allen isn't really a flashy fighter. Pretty tough. Like I said he's got heart. But ..other than that..In my mind he can hang up being champ but he's good enough to pick up a few bonuses and make a living at it. Not trying to be an ass hole I'm just keep in it real. I like the guy alright. These two are starting to be a pretty regular watch for me these days.
Great fight Al.
Connor's tweet basically said that too bad Frankie never lost to him instead of Ortega. The problem here is, A) Connor would not have beat him, and B) He avoided Frankie for 4 years. Yes he did. He might take Frankie now, but the fight will never happen. UFC avoided that fight for 4 years as well. Styles make fights. Connors biggest money fight is still Nate. It's likely the only one he would come back for. UFC will likely try to match up Cub and Frankie, and go from there. Connor would never risk a comeback against Max or Brian, … not if he can get a bigger payday vs Nate.
pfriderfan yep
pfriderfan Mcgregor's takedown defense is actually pretty good statistically so I don't think it's fair to stay Frankie would take him down at will. That's not easy to get on McGregor. I think people may be a bit disillusioned after the first fight with Diaz where he was incredibly tired. What he does on the ground is one thing, but getting him down there is another story, and by then most guys usually get knocked out. I like Frankie, but I doubt he would've beaten Mcgregor.
Well, Connor avoided him on his push to the top, and the UFC went out of their way to make the fight.
pfriderfan Yeah that was weird, I can't deny that. However one can't can't say he avoided it because he was somehow terrified of Edgar. Mcgregor has done strange things over the years, but being afraid to fight people is not one of them. Lol
I think conors striking has always been fast and on point.. hes also had adversity (diaz 1+2) so i dont think Frankie would show him up like rodriuguez
Aw dang it I missed the live episode☹️
bit late.
Late for talking UFC 222? It JUST happened! We didn't get to do the show immediately after Alan's win because both Alan and I were still on the road (though we DID do a post-fight skype interview: tinyurl.com/ajorlando). Anyway, hope you enjoyed this one!
Is this filmed in ur parents living room Karen? Smh
