  1. IMO Ortega runs right over Holloway 1 takedown 1 well placed strike for a knockdown its over. Look at Holloways 1st loss in the UFC submission triangle/armbar from mount to Porier. Ortega's jiu-jitsu on another level 2nd round TKO or another 3 round submission IMO.

    • Well, we all said it on the UFC ON FOX post-fight show too, so… I hear what your saying, but I absolutely WOULD ask him why he made what appeared to be SUCH a bad choice in the fight. Obviously I've never been a pro fighter, but I wouldn't be afraid to call him out on it.

    • i'm not saying what you said about fight iq was wrong, you were right about that, but if he would watch this show and see the way you were talking, i'm quite sure he would feel a bit disrespected(maybe you can imagine why)but this is your podcast, and were a bit tipsy ,you can act the way you wan't,but calling him out on it,if i wasn't a fighter(witch i'm not)i wouldn't do,but if he asked me ,i would give my honest opinion, not in the rashad evans way(although hilariously funny.)

  3. Win or lose, its always great as fight fans to come together on here and send our congrats and well wishes to Alan for a successful fight and camp. That was 3 fights in a row that Alan had a travel, hopefully he gets his wish and fights in Vegas in July when he heals up. If he cant get on UFC 226, there is the Ultimate Fighter 27 finale the night before on a Friday. Sometimes I always thought that Dana sets up fights, he loves it when team mates fights each other like Alan and Ben (both train under Eddie Bravo). Jessica and Tecia tore the roof off. With all due respect, I would have had Mike vs Max open then Illr vs OSP, then Alan vs Ben and Jess vs Tecia main event cause they were fighting for Tecias opporunity at the UFC Womens Strawweight Championship. Felt like Jeremy vs Josh was the main event cause they couldnt find out they were through 4 different combos: first Yoel vs Luke (happened at UFC 221), Yoel vs David Branch (Robert Whittaker had his illness), Jeremy vs T-City (Ortega waited for title shot with win over Frankie Edgar), Jeremy vs Josh cause of the rivarly with Alliance MMA and Team Alpha Male. Even though Tecia lost by decision felt like she finally put herself on the map in the Womens Strawweight Division she felt to 10-2: 6-2 in the UFC both were decision losses. The fans were on their feet at the end of the fight while I was glad that Alan vs Ben was fight of the night their fight told me any other night Jessica vs Tecia hands down fight of the night.

  4. Long time listener, first time posting.
On CB Dollaway and Lombard the KO reminded me of a KO from TUF that CB was on. Didn't look like hardest shot ever either but the guy was confused and had to be reminded over and over what happened. There are different grades of concussions 1-3 and I think its just rare we see level 3. I don't think CB was faking and could or should have continued.

  7. I think it's Alan house. Yea Disney world and those type places will kill your feet. I'm sorry to say this but unless Karyn can pull some serious strings, which who knows maybe she can, there's no way in hell Allen is getting ko of the year. Tc just kod Frankie lol..I give Allen Heart points but Style? Meh, not so much. Allen isn't really a flashy fighter. Pretty tough. Like I said he's got heart. But ..other than that..In my mind he can hang up being champ but he's good enough to pick up a few bonuses and make a living at it. Not trying to be an ass hole I'm just keep in it real. I like the guy alright. These two are starting to be a pretty regular watch for me these days.

  8. Connor's tweet basically said that too bad Frankie never lost to him instead of Ortega. The problem here is, A) Connor would not have beat him, and B) He avoided Frankie for 4 years. Yes he did. He might take Frankie now, but the fight will never happen. UFC avoided that fight for 4 years as well. Styles make fights. Connors biggest money fight is still Nate. It's likely the only one he would come back for. UFC will likely try to match up Cub and Frankie, and go from there. Connor would never risk a comeback against Max or Brian, … not if he can get a bigger payday vs Nate.
