On this edition of The MMA H.E.A.T. Podcast, Karyn Bryant and UFC Welterweight Alan Jouban discuss the action that went down at UFC Hamburg, where Anthony “Lionheart” Smith defeated Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in the main event. They discuss that fight, as well as Corey Anderson vs Glover Teixeira, Stefan Struve’s loss to Marcin Tybura and Danny Roberts vs David Zawada. Karyn and Alan look ahead to the three biggest fights on the UFC Calgary card: Eddie Alvarez vs Dustin Poirier, Jose Aldo vs Jeremy Stephens and Joanna Jędrzejczyk vs Tecia Torres. In addition, the two talk about a few recent fight announcements and the UFC’s decision to strip Colby Covington of his Interim Title when Champ Tyron Woodley and Darren Till meet at UFC 228.

  2. I don't think Eddie was trying to find a way out with those knees when Dustin was down, Eddie had just turned the momentum of the fight around in his favor so why would he want to find a way out when the fight had just started going his way. I think he was just caught up in the moment and didn't pay attention to whether Dustin's knee was down because it was such a wild fight.

  3. Love you guys! Good morning from the rolling green hills of Ireland. This podcast is up there with the Believe You Me Podcast. Joe Rogan wishes he could have an MMA podcast like this, Alan and Karyn are perfect for keeping the flow on this podcast for fans, rather than for their own entertainment. Let Alan Jouban know, that he has many fans in Ireland!
