On this edition of The MMA H.E.A.T. Podcast, Karyn Bryant and UFC Welterweight Alan Jouban discuss the action that is set to go down on the UFC’s first card of the ESPN era. At UFC Brooklyn, Flyweight Champion Henry Cejudo will defend his title against Bantamweight Champ TJ Dillashaw in the main event. Karyn and Alan break down that top-notch match up, as well as some other high-profile bouts: Cowboy Cerrone vs Alexander Hernandez, Paige VanZant vs Rachael Ostovich and the controversial bout between former NFL star Greg Hardy and Allen Crowder.

Gregor/Yancy or Alex/Cowboy should have been the Co-Main. Hardy could have been on the ESPN prelims or kicked the ESPN+ card off
Good luck with Greg Hardy making a genuine post fight speech about his past making some amends. If you listen to the Slip N Dip Podcast with Greg Hardy some months ago his Football media training is off the charts. There was nothing he let on that he has any kind of remorse about his past.
The main event for me is Cerrone and Hernandez. Once that fight is done I'm turning ESPN off until the post fight show. Not a fan of the co main or the main event for various reasons. Can't wait to see KB's coverage on ESPN.
Ummm people have been spending way more time talking about Greg Hardy; no one is talking about the Benavidez or Cerrone fights, but yet they’re wondering why Hardy is on the co-main event? Makes 100% perfect sense to me from that standpoint alone. There’s your reason.
Tj doesnt even wear socks
This road to UFC Fight Night 143 has been nuts with all the changes. Cory was originally booked to fight #13. Thomas Almedia. Then on December 22nd it came out that New York wouldnt commish Thomas to fight. Then as Karyn explains the rest of the story is true. Cory was booked to fight John. Linker is injured or as I dont mind saying his team didnt like the matchup. Lets be honest Cory isnt ranked at 135. What if he beat John. He is 1 away from a title shot in a great division. I am worried by the time Karyn comes on with the prefight show on Friday she will have to toss it to Megan to explain why Henry vs TJ aint happening. I know TJ says he can make 125 but after looking at TJ on Monday from the media day that Karyn was at, I dont see New York sancitioning the fight at all.
Awesome content and amazing breakdown of the up coming event's thanks you two..

Great podcast! And Alan looks kinda Christiano Ronaldo a bit, unrelated note but always struck me resemblance wise!
