On this edition of The MMA H.E.A.T. Podcast, Karyn Bryant and UFC Welterweight Alan Jouban discuss the action that went down on the UFC’s first card of the ESPN era. At UFC Brooklyn, Flyweight Champion Henry Cejudo successfully defended his title against Bantamweight Champ TJ Dillashaw in the main event. Karyn and Alan break down that stoppage and discuss a possible rematch. They also discuss some other high-profile bouts: Cowboy Cerrone vs Alexander Hernandez, Paige VanZant vs Rachael Ostovich, Gregor Gillespie vs Yancy Medeiros and the controversial bout between former NFL star Greg Hardy and Allen Crowder. Looking ahead, they preview the upcoming Bellator 214 card which features the Grand Prix final between Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader.

I don't agree that Khabib does more with the ground n pound than Gillespie. Watch that first round against Conor where he landed zero strikes.
My favorite podcast for sure..
Glad you moved with the broadcast Karen, wouldn't have been the same without ya.

Trevor found his footing once the night rolled along. I thought he did a good job. Stephen A, I agree with Alan, its a hard sell. I remember Curt Menifee would take over the main cards on Fox when Karyn would step away. I think the fact too it was confusing cause you would have to go here for the preshow, there for the pre fights, here for the pre fights on TV that were delayed 10 minutes due to Duke and Virginia almost going into overtime. It was ring around the damn rosey. TJ was whining backstage cause as Dana was talking to Aaron Bronester, the sound and video is on his twitter you can hear TJ said its fucking bullshit and Dana agreed. There was a narrative that Dana wanted to tell. TJ was sent to kill the division plain and simple. If that was Henry complaing too bad so sad.
Killing it as usual! It makes me love you even more that you use sweet vocabulary like dope and sick!! A 90's girl right there.
She's my favorite
Mike perry is looking for his last fight in his contract. Any interest in that fight Alan?

If u didn't have bad guy in alex than cowboy victory didn't feel like it did so understand the dynamics rda was hero against Colby in Chicago in other fight people didn't care as much of his fighting like chael said punch nd kicks r not enough we need storytelling in mma cowboy was the most popular fighter in Brooklyn because alex play his role perfect love the podcast
Yep WWE to the core the new casuals will probably hate Alex forever muh who gives a fuck he will have a legendary career
Cejudo rematch TJ AT 135 OR CEJUDO VS MAX UFC HAWAII
Black Beast vs Greg Hardy
Cowboy vs Poirier 155 title ELIMINATOR OR new 165 lb strap
Props to both Karyn & Alan, for being well spoken individuals. Looking forward to more editions of your podcast.
I disagree with the Rua vs Glover match up. It does make a lot of sense rankings wise. And is a good and interesting match up. I certainly wouldn’t mind that fight happening. Rua has been looking good beating these young guys.
This podcast was spectacular and real special
You have the subs but you lost your viewership. What’s your goal for this channel in 2019? Just curious
