  1. I understand a lot of these ridiculous points of views Jon Bones Jones is good for business there are now 3 fights he git gifted the win Gustavson , Santos and Reyes with this last one being the Robbery of the Century as bad as we see it in Boxing.

  2. The way Alan talks about the 2nd and 3rd rounds not being Dom; yet he literally threw a hissy fit when he lost the decision and didn’t even do as much as Dom did in those rounds when he had fought Dwight Grant. So his scoring of this fight showcases how little Alan knows about the scoring system. Dom won 1st, 2nd and 3rd clearly. The only toss up round was 4th. Smh this was in fact a robbery. I’m a Jones fan, and I’m unbiased as hell. But to claim that wasn’t a robbery is such an idiocy.

STOP TALKING ABOUT JON JONES ON HW DIVISIONJon jones always win against smaller fighters, thats why he is the champion for too long, because he always fight smaller fightersThats why he lost to Reyes and Gustaffson, because they were not smaller than JonesJones is a smart guy, he wanna still fight smaller guys on LHW division

  5. Awesome podcast Karyn and Alan as always. Glad you guys had time to record this before Karyn left for Rio Ranchio. Monday Night it came out that Nicco Montano IS Out of her fighting Saturday. MMA Fighting's Damon Martin reported she torn her MCL in training. Was hoping to stay in. Went to the PI couldnt get cleared. Instead newcomer Shanna Young who normally competes at 125 lbs is steeping in with a 7-2 record. I am not clamoring for the triology of Valentina vs Amanda. I think those people that want it in their minds Valentina should be champion at Womens Bantamweight. Womens Flyweight Division is only 26 months old. Nicco Montano won the Ultimate FIghter to be the first champion. Valentina wants to actively defend this title and continue to put the division on map. I think people will care once Valentina loses I hate to say. Went through it with Ronda at 135 and Mighty Mouse at 125 lbs. I think Dominick Reyes won it 3-2. Joe Solis gave Jon round 2-5. Trevin Giles 29-28 including 1 and 3 over James Krause and Andre Ewell 30-27 over Jonathan Martinez. Dom outstroke Jon 118-104. Dominick had the best offense against Jon than anybody. This was Jon's 3rd defense in his 2nd reign. We have to remember its been 9 years since anybody not named Jon Jones or Daniel Cormier was champ at Light Heavyweight.

  6. I take umbrage with people who talk about finishing strong like that matters. Under the current rules it doesn't. The first round is scored the same as the last round. They have equal weight.

I also don't like when people bring up pressure. That is not a scoring criteria. Walking forward is not supposed to earn you points. If that is what is influencing the judges then there is a big issue with the judges not understanding the scoring criteria.

  7. I would say it was close, but unanimous is not a close fight. If anything it should have been a split or Dom got the belt. In my opinion. It will be a good 2nd fight if it happens. Open scoring will help the fighters and pressure the judges a little more.
